Design and Development

Dream it.

The idea was simple; make a backpack stand that holds your bag off the ground. We were tired of having our bags fall over on the floor and distressed by taking up someone else's seat at the coffee shop.

Build it.

We learned a lot through iterations and trial and error. Each step of the way we asked ourselves, what is it made of? How is it shipped? Is it easy to assemble? It had to be functional yet beautiful and it had to be achievable but also sustainable.

Grow it.

When we landed on something that hit all of our criteria we made a plan to execute. Aligning partners and scheduling to bring an idea to reality through modern manufacturing and marketing practices.

Lo-tech and Hi-tech

The process of making something is a constant evolution. We tested our ideas and always confirmed our scale and function would meet the needs of all users.

We use 3D modeling not only to engineer but to visualize ideas and quickly iterate on form, style, and scale.

The Atlas is for everyone and works in all spaces, from hi-tech workplaces with the most advanced furnishing to a humble home office.
